Ryan Hoard
Ryan, a Registered Psychologist, has a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and 15 years of experience working in various settings that include residential care and treatment, specialized behavioural treatment programs, community resilience and outreach, Indigenous based healing programs and community corrections. Ryan primarily utilizes a Narrative approach to therapy but also integrates other therapies to address a variety of mental health and social concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, addictions, identity, interpersonal and relationship issues and grief and loss. Providing service to individuals, children, youth and adults, as well as to families, groups and schools, he is interested in helping people from all walks of life work towards their therapeutic goals. Ryan is committed to providing a safe counselling environment that promotes resilience, self-determination and a sense of well-being through supportive and collaborative relationships.
